Alicante to UK removals (door-to-door service)

Our Alicante to UK service is fully door-to-door. We collect from your property in the Costa Blanca, transport everything in our own vehicles, and deliver into your UK address on a date agreed in writing.

The process is the same on every move, so there are no surprises:

1. Survey: a video survey or in-person visit to confirm volume, access and any tricky items.

2. Quote: a written, fixed price covering collection, transport, delivery and any extras you have asked for.

3. Collection: our crew arrives in Alicante with blankets, straps and export-grade materials and loads everything onto our lorry.

4. Transport: a direct UK to Spain to UK lane with our own driver. No third-party transfers, no warehouse hops you did not agree to.

5. Customs: we handle the paperwork side with you in advance so the lorry is not held up at the border.

6. Delivery: we book a UK delivery date with you, unload, and place each item where you want it.

Because the lorry runs every week, we can usually offer a date window inside the next 7 to 21 days at quote stage, with longer notice if you need to coordinate completion in the UK.

Part loads and full house moves from Alicante

Not every move from Alicante is a full villa, and you should not pay for a full vehicle if you do not need one.

A part load is the right choice when you are moving the contents of an apartment, the contents of a single room, a few key pieces of furniture, or a holiday-home clear-out. Your items share the lorry with other consignments running on the same UK to Spain lane, which keeps the cost down and still gives you a proper, professional removals service rather than a courier.

A full load suits a complete property such as a four-bedroom villa, a long-let furnished home, a relocation where you are bringing everything back. Here you have the full lorry to yourself, with one collection date and one UK delivery date.

When you ask for a quote we will tell you which option fits your inventory. If a part load makes more sense we will say so. If you are borderline, we will price both so you can choose.

Packing service and packing materials

You can pack yourself, ask us to pack the fragile items only, or hand the whole job to our crew. All three options use the same export-grade boxes, paper, blankets and tape that we use on every long-distance move.

A full packing service is the most popular choice on Alicante to UK jobs. The crew arrives the day before loading, packs methodically room by room, and labels every box. Glassware, ceramics, art and electronics are double-wrapped and crated where needed. If you have a piano, antiques or a wine collection, mention it on the survey and we will plan the right materials in advance.

If you would rather pack yourself, we can drop materials to your property in the days before the move. You only pay for what you use.

Customs and paperwork support (Spain to UK)

Since Brexit, every household move from Spain to the UK needs a small amount of customs paperwork. It is not difficult and it is not scary, but it does need doing properly.

Our coordinator walks you through the documents we need from you. In most cases that is a passport copy, proof of UK address, an inventory of what is on the lorry, and a Transfer of Residence application if you qualify for relief on import duty. We prepare the rest, including the export side in Spain.

We are not customs lawyers and we do not give tax advice. What we do is run this lane every week, and we know the forms HMRC expects to see. If you have an unusual item, talk to us at quote stage so we can flag anything that needs checking before the lorry leaves Almoradi.

Storage options in Spain and the UK

Sometimes dates do not line up. Your Spanish completion might be six weeks before the UK keys, or the buyer wants you out of the UK property before your Alicante move date is confirmed. We have climate-controlled storage at both ends to take the pressure off.

Our UK storage runs from 25 sq ft up to 300 sq ft per unit at the Knaresborough depot, charged by the week so you only pay for what you need. Our Spanish facility in Almoradi works the same way for items you want to leave in country before, during or after the move.

Storage is the calm option when timing slips. Tell us at quote stage if you might need it and we will price short-term and long-term options so the cost is on the table from the start.
