European storage with David Dale Removals lets you store household belongings in the UK or Spain until your new property is ready. Our managed storage services connect our Knaresborough operation in North Yorkshire with our own depot in Almoradi, Spain, so collection, storage and onward transport can be planned together.

If a house sale completes early or a renovation runs late, you do not have to arrange separate storage and transport providers. We can collect your belongings, prepare them for storage and organise delivery when the next stage of your move is confirmed.

How European Storage Works With Your Move

Our storage service is designed for the gap between leaving one property and getting the keys to the next. The team surveys what needs moving, discusses how long you may need storage and plans the collection and delivery arrangements.

Store in the UK, ship when ready

We collect your belongings in the UK, arrange packing or export wrapping as required, and hold them at our Knaresborough storage facility. When the Spanish property is ready, your goods can be released onto our UK to Spain removal service for onward delivery.

This is useful when a UK house sale completes before a Spanish purchase, or when you need to leave your current property before the new home can receive furniture.

Ship first, store in Spain

Alternatively, we can move your belongings to Spain and hold them at our Almoradi depot until you are ready to arrange delivery. This can suit customers staying in furnished accommodation while they complete a purchase or renovation.

The process can also work in reverse for customers moving from Spain back to the UK. Storage location, availability and collection and delivery dates are confirmed for each booking.

What Our UK and Spain Storage Service Includes

Storage and removal requirements differ from one household to another. We put together a quotation based on the amount you are moving and the services you need.

• Pre-move survey: An assessment of the furniture, boxes and access requirements at collection.
• Packing and export wrapping: Protective materials for belongings going into storage or on an international journey.
• UK storage: Climate-controlled units at Knaresborough, ranging from 25 to 300 sq ft.
• Storage in Spain: Climate-controlled storage at the Almoradi depot, subject to space and arrangements being confirmed.
• International transport: The established UK to Spain to UK removal service, running weekly for approximately 50 weeks of the year.
• Part loads: Smaller consignments can share vehicle space on the scheduled Spain service.
• Customs documentation: Help preparing the inventory and documents relevant to your removal.
• Onward delivery: Release from storage and delivery to the agreed destination when arrangements are confirmed.

A weekly transport service does not guarantee that collection or delivery takes place on a particular day. Your coordinator confirms the available collection date and delivery window.
