We didn’t actually move house! we had our house completely re-carpeted. The guys from David Dale helped move all the furniture ready for the carpet fitters and then worked with the fitters all day moving furniture around. Super guys to have around and so helpful and efficient that at the end of the day we had super new carpet throughout and all our furniture back in place! What could have been a stressful day was made easy by the guys from David Dale.

We recently moved from Yorkshire to Lincolnshire using the services of David Dale Removals. From the very start, a home visit and assessment from Nigel to safe and careful removal and delivery everything was very efficiently done in a very friendly way. We moved to France permanently in 2021 and had left our belongings in storage in the UK whilst we renovated from top to bottom the one over here.

We were running out of time for the 12 month duty free import deadline and so needed the goods over here in the next month or so.

Unsuprisingly, based on the reviews,when we contacted David Dale Removals they were very busy and did not think they could fit us in before the deadline, possibly 2 days before the final day at best considering the back and forth of forms for the authorities to be completed as well.

The office team were great and pulled the stops out to make it happen. They had clearly done their homework concerning post-brexit removals and had made the paperwork so easy to follow and fill in.

As we were flexible on the delivery date, if they could get us on a delivery before the deadline they would. We got a phone call on the Monday saying they would be here by the Wednesday.

They arrived as promised on what was a scorching day in the mid 90 degrees. They navigated the single track lane down to our home as if it was nothing to worry about. Very impressed!

It was after 2pm when they arrived and by way of conversation they told us that no HGV’s are allowed to be on the road after 10pm on the eve of Bastille Day.

We offered the opportunity for them to rest up with us if they wished but they needed to be a few hours further south from us if they were to remain on schedule and arrive at their previously arranged place.

They set to and in spite of the time pressure and the heat they unloaded all our goods safely and placed them where we wanted. Bernadette kept all concerned fed and watered. They (Neville and Kyle) were professional and good humoured throughout making the whole process very relaxed.

Job completed, a signature written, handshakes and they were away. After they had gone we were left with a warm feeling, that in other circumstances, you would have liked to have known more about them and enjoyed their company.

If you have had a similar quotation or a hundred or two cheaper, do not hesitate to go with David Dale Removals .These folk are at the top of their game.
